After being discharged from bankruptcy, I did not think I would have a chance of being approved for a home refinance loan. I especially never thought a traditional bank would even consider us for a loan. I received a letter in the mail from Peoples Bank stating they could help me lower my house payments. I decided to go out on a limb and give them a call. I was so surprised when my Loan Officer, Danny Messier, stated he could help me qualify for a refinance loan. Danny delivered on his promise and my loan closed in less than 60 days from my initial consultation.

I cannot say enough positive things about the manner in which the team at Peoples Bank handled a difficult refinance for my husband and I. During the process of filing for a refinance, Peoples Bank found that we had an erroneous lien placed on our title. They counseled us through the work that we needed to do to correct this error and stayed with us through what could have been a very frustrating experience. While it took several months to accomplish, we have finally closed and are feeling the relief of the burden of a heavy mortgage payment.

Peoples Bank reached out to me via a letter. Shortly after I responded, I received an email from Tom Del Monaco. We began a lengthy, but rewarding process where a number of issues regarding my credit history had to be corrected. Tom found many erroneous items in my credit reports and worked tirelessly to correct them. Eventually, the task of obtaining a lender fell to Joe Del Monaco. Here the problem was a mountain of paperwork and verification. The duration of the process was seemingly endless, and there were moments when I wanted to forget the idea. The result of reading the letter is more than I could have asked for.
